HOME ECONOMICS

The emphasis on Maranatha's Home Economics facility to help students develop into competent young adults. Developed in conjunction with the Senior School 'Independent Living' course, this program will provide students with the knowledge and skills that will prepare them for life after school.

With rapid changes occurring in our society, it is impossible to teach students everything they require. Independent Living is designed to encourage students to explore and acquire a variety of skills to help with problem solving and developing their own personal talents.

The facilities provided in this building are also designed to lead to some exciting career opportunities in the Food, Hospitality, Textiles or Fashion Industries.
