ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS

Co-operative Scholarship Testing Program

Academic Scholarships are awarded to students with proven academic ability and thus the potential to complete years 11 & 12 to TEE standard. These scholarships offer substantial financial benefits by providing a 50% rebate on the College tuition fees for 3 years (8, 9 & 10) and 2 years (11 & 12). Selection is made via a series of exams sat at the College on Saturday 10th May 2008.

If you are interested in having your child sit for a scholarship, please register by following the procedure outlined below, no later than Friday 11th April 2008.

Details of Testing

The scholarship examination will be held on Saturday 10th May 2008 at Maranatha Christian College, Gnangara Drive, Waikiki beginning at 8.45 a.m. and finishing at approximately 12.00 p.m. The scholarship application fee is $70 which is payable online direct to ACER on the ACER application page (accessed via the buttons below).

IMPORTANT! People applying for academic scholarships must also submit photocopies of their last two semester reports to Maranatha Christian College if not enrolled at Maranatha over the last 12 months. Please contact Maranatha for more information.

Level 1 - For Year 7 students applying for the Year 8 scholarship

Designed for students in their final year of primary school during 2008, for entry into first year of secondary school (entry into year 8 in WA) in 2009.

Level 3 - For Year 10 students applying for the Year 11 scholarship

Designed for students in Year 10 during 2008, for entry into Year 11 in 2009.
